Our projects
As mental health professionals we also spend our skills on various projects in the area, with the aim of supporting the population and spreading ever greater awareness of the importance of psychological well-being.
#YOUTOO - Teenagers at the center
Growing old with drug addictions
Project to promote the psychological well-being of adolescents through active listening and the empowerment of psychosocial resources and skills. It offers young people opportunities to re-elaborate their experiences and compare with peers and the possibility of getting involved personally in redefining their future.
GOLD, acronym for Growing OLd with Drugs, is a multi-method, interdisciplinary and participatory research project that aims to generate new knowledge on the aging of drug-addicted people in substitution treatment and to develop institutional and training intervention proposals to deal with the challenges of taking burden posed by this emerging population.

COSMO - Covid Mental health and young people
VIVAVOCE project for young people undergoing alternative family placement
Born with the participation and collaboration of the main actors present in the Ticino area who deal with the protection of children and adolescents. Its aims concern the promotion of a shared culture among professionals who work in this area of listening to and participating in children and young people who are included in alternative care programs.
A study that has allowed us to broaden the photograph of the youth population, restoring its complexity and underlining its heterogeneity in the face of the pandemic. It highlighted the need to distinguish between well-being and mental health or, negatively, between malaise and psychopathology. Starting from this distinction, a series of differentiated actions have been hypothesized in the fields of early intervention, prevention and care.
